I had started drafting a piece on how I think ChatGPT can be used to help in the proposal writing process but on asking ChatGPT what it thinks about it all, it’s probably given me a better concise answer in a matter of seconds. It’s a bit embarrassing maybe but at the same time a great demonstration of how AI can save time, freeing me up to focus on my personal take on the matter, adding the human element and choosing where I want to be more thorough. That last paragraph is interesting. It’s almost as if ChatGPT has been programmed with a bit of modesty, admitting it isn’t perfect and that perhaps us human users know best after all! Or is it more nefarious?… Putting us into a false sense of security before AI takes over completely…
